The Adjustment Layers in Photoshop are a group of a super useful, non-destructive image editing tools that add color and tonal adjustments to your image without permanently changing its pixels. 
You can edit and discard your adjustments or restore your original image at any time.

1. BRIGHTNESS / CONTRAST

The brightness slider is for adjusting the highlights in your image and the Contrast slider is for adjusting the shadows in your image.
2. LEVEL

Levels modify the tonal values in an image by adjusting the levels of the shadows, midtones, and highlights. 
3. CURVES

Curves let you adjust as many points as you want throughout the entire tonal range of your image to achieve better results.
4. EXPOSURE

Exposure consists of three parts--Exposure(only the highlights), Offset(he mid tones ) and Gamma(the dark tones only). 
5. SELECTIVE COLOR

selectively modifies the amount of a primary color without modifying the other primary colors.

·Filters
Using filters to edit photos is an essential element of Adobe’s graphics editor.

Use CTRL+I Can be filled with black.
Then use the Brush tool to erase the highlights.

Note:Match lighting. Adjustment layers, Filters
· Match lighting
Take curves adjustment layer and take it upwards from the center.
Click select - subject
Press CTRL+Backspace
Press CTRL+I(Note: You can also click image - Adjustments - Invert)
You can find it in the toolbar at the bottom of the layer interface.
(Note:You can add adjustments on individual layers by clipping masks)

Note:Photoshop Pen Tool
Using the Pen tool, select a path in the upper toolbar.
When you're done making your selection with pentool, right-click - Make Selection.
Click Select (in the toolbar above)- Refine Edge.
Smooth-20,Contrast-30
Use [] key to increase or decrease Brush Size.
Brush to get back details and other stuff.

DESCRIPTION:The digital collage was conceived using the rules of third.And proficiently use the pen tool and the magic wand tool in PS for cutting,selecting and pasting.


2.WEEK 4 (ADJUSTMENT LAYERS & FILTERS )

DESCRIPTION:In this digital collage, I've adjusted the hue, brightness, and hue separation of the people and rubber plant layers at the very bottom.I adjusted the color balance of the cyan typewriter, and I liked the color so much that I didn't change its hue drastically, just made it look orange.I didn't adjust the layer of the building at the very top, because it looks like it stands out more as the visual center.

Week4
The adjustments weren't obvious enough, so I added more adjustment layers to create a completely different look.
